I’m a daughter, sister, friend, wife and mom.

I’m also a blogger and creative organizer on a mission to expose the transparency that is organization and how it can be easily accomplished by anyone. I’m quite the visionary when it comes to seeing all the possibilities that a space can offer.

How I got here

I’ve always been a very orderly person – you know that friend when you’re a kid that cleans up your room, that was me! Fast forward to my 20s when I had our child and became a stay-at-home mom. Once I somewhat adapted to this new life and being a “mom”, I felt a strong need to get in touch with my creativity and order so I followed my intuition and read Marie Kondo’s The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up book and I was hooked!

The best way to find out what we really need is to get rid of what we don’t.
-Marie Kondo

I discovered that organization was “the” common denominator for me since it regrouped creativity and order all in one. It also filled that creative void that I had and (bonus!) it brought order into our lives as a new family of three.

I found great joy in organizing either house items, ideas and thoughts, reorganizing furniture, and having the time to paint furniture or work on DIY projects for myself or even for friends because there was order in our home and I had more time. After looking up ideas online, I discovered that others felt just as inspired by these types of ideas as I did. I thought I would create my own blog to be able to share my ideas, thoughts and projects with others and also be part of a creative community so here I am!

The Blog

I truly believe that we all have a “creative” side to our personalities and that once we have found what yours is, that it can bring great joy in your life. I use my blog to share simple organizing solutions for different aspects of your life. It could be to physically organize an area of your home, a routine that you have or a thought process that needs tweaking. It could also be about obtaining the vision you have for your space in order for you to feel better when you are in it.

My goal is to inspire you as my reader with my organization ideas so that you have the confidence to undertake a project and be proud of the final product you have achieved. Organization is not only limited to physical objects (although that’s a great part of it) but it’s also about a feeling and a sense of peace you can feel within your mind. I want to help you achieve your vision so that you can focus on what really matters to you, whatever it may be.

My Services

To add on to the blog, I thought of offering my organizational services to others for their specific home needs.

“ We had excellent service with Sonya. She took our needs into consideration, such as making snacks accessible to children. I really like the fact that she put food in categories, it’s easier to find something. I can now make an inventory more easily of what I have left and what I need to buy.”

When working with me as your creative organizer, you will quickly see and feel that I have a no-judgement and friendly vibe. You will also notice that I’m bubbly and enthusiastic when I’m in my element. My talent lies in being inventive with the spaces I visit in order to achieve your desired goal.

You may currently be feeling stressed, discouraged, fed-up and overwhelmed about a cluttered space in your home. After working with me, you will feel strong, determined and liberated with regards to your space.

Regardless of the reasoning behind this need that you have, having your space organized and decluttered by someone that is knowledgeable and professional in the field is an enjoyable experience. You can expect a step-by-step plan of what I will be doing with and without you so that we can establish a level of comfort in your home. The services that I offer make organization easy to do, useful and practical.
